My Background

I was born and raised in London, UK. From a young age, I was the child who listened intently to the adults around, drawn to their proverbs, stories, and words of encouragement. The structure, discipline, and wisdom instilled by my Jamaican parents played a key role in shaping my path, ultimately leading me to graduate with a Law degree and then a Master’s in Management.

Although I began my career in law, my passion for helping others soon guided me towards the charitable sector. That same drive has seen me spend over a decade working in Government, and more recently, in the National Health Service (NHS).

Throughout my journey, I’ve consistently sought to grow professionally and personally. I’ve continued to build my qualifications and skills, and have supported colleagues, friends, and family through coaching and mentoring. This passion has now evolved into my own business: Excellence with Michelle.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple philosophy: learn and grow. That’s also why I love travelling the world. Every journey is an opportunity to change and evolve.
